Dr. Nida

Dr. Nida grew up in Montreal, Canada, and fluently speaks three languages. She earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) from McGill University in Montreal. During dental school, she enjoyed volunteering her time to help underserved communities while delivering dental care at mobile outreach clinics, organizing oral health sessions at the women’s shelter, and winter clothing drives for refugees. She then completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the University of Connecticut Health Center, where she gained experience in complex dental treatment, dental emergencies, trauma, and hospital-based special needs care.

Dr Nida discovered her love for pediatric dentistry while caring for patients in a private practice for two years in Calgary, Canada. Her passion for helping children led her to pursue specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Michigan and Mott Children’s Health Center. During her training, she became proficient at preventative and restorative pediatric dentistry, full mouth rehabilitation under sedation and general anesthesia, and offering care to children with special healthcare needs.

She is dedicated to helping her patients understand and choose the best treatment options for their individual needs and strives to provide a fun and nurturing dental home for all of her patients. In her free time, you will find her trying out new recipes, exploring the outdoors, or spending time with her husband and toddler. Dr Nida is excited to be a part of the LifeSmiles team and serve the Howell community.
